MY STORY

When I began my healthcare career as a RN over 20 years ago, I began to recognize that those struggling with addictions, depression , anxiety and truly all mental health issues were marginalized by the very healthcare professionals who should be helping them. After earning my BSN through Purdue University, I was still not able to connect with those I felt led to help, that's when I discovered Celebrate Recovery.  Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered support group, where I was finally able to help and support participants living with mental health disorders. God was not done with me yet. I felt the calling to obtain my Masters of Pastoral Counseling degree to be able to help those struggling with substance use disorders, behavioral addictions and all mental health issues. Now I am able to help improve the lives of those I meet by helping them find peace, love, and acceptance through the healing power of Jesus Christ.
